Mike Contreras
Co Founder, President
Mike is the co-founder and president of MissionConnect. Mike is just finishing his 23rd year as a supported missionary, training leaders in more than 15 countries on three continents. Mike was a foundational partner of the BAM Center in Puebla, Mexico and brings years of Business As Mission experience to the organization. Mike loves to camp with his family, travel the world, and is a student of global culture.

AL FEUERHAKEN
Co-Founder
Alan is the co-founder of MissionConnect. Amazingly he committed to a 5 year construction of the organizational framework, bringing over 25 years of non-profit ministry start-up experience to bear. Alan helps keep the organization bound to the highest standard of ethics and practices. Alan handles the financial side of the ministry, but is also a gifted landscaper. Along with his wife Barni, MissionConnect reaps the benefit of over 50 years of ministry activity. Alan loves to golf, and is an avid hiker throughout the Rocky Mountain terrain.

Jonathan Crowe
Board Member
,Jonathan was born and raised in Ontario, Canada by his parents who were involved in ministry. He is the oldest of seven siblings and accepted the Lord at age 7.
He has been married for 40 years to his wife Joyce and they have two married daughters. Joyce and Jonathan have hosted and led many home Bible studies through the years, as well as doing two short-term ministry trips to Peru.
Jonathan’s field of expertise is in audio production where he worked for several Canadian radio stations. In 1992 he was hired by Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, where he served for 24 years in the audio production of “Adventures in Odyssey.” He is now retired but enjoying contract video production.

Steve Simpson
Board Member
Steve became a Christian in his childhood and grew up in Southern California. He worked in the health insurance industry for over 30 years managing three offices and 350 medical claim examiners.
Since moving to Colorado thirty years ago, he has worked at Focus on the Family in several capacities including director of the National Day of Prayer and Heritage Builders ministries. After retirement, Steve worked part-time with the Colorado Springs Police Department as a Community Service Officer.
Steve and wife Roxanne have been married for 50 years and have two daughters and five grandchildren. Steve and Roxanne have enjoyed volunteering at the YMCA of the Rockies at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. They have also been involved in a home Bible study for over 25 years.

Molly Starch
Board Member
Molly has been a Christian since age 4 and has a passion to share the gospel ever since. Growing up she became involved in Young Life as a youth leader and started a Young Life group in college. After college graduation she and husband Dan served on Young LIfe staff for eight years in Colorado, Australia, and Canada.
After being a stay-at-home for 10 years, Molly joined the staff of UW Sports Ministry for 12 years where she became the International Development Director. After her time with UW, Molly returned to Young Life where she has served as Area Director in several U.S regions. She is currently on staff with Childcare Worldwide.
She and Husband Dan have been married for 39 years and have two grown children and two grandchildren with another one on the way.

Shari WALLICK
Board Member
Shari became a Christian while in college and has since been involved in and supported a variety of ministries. She has been involved in ministries that rescue individuals from sex trafficking where she has been able to use her degree in nutrition to help those who suffer from eating disorders due to abuse.
Shari has also taught in AWANA and middle school youth groups and has recently developed a passion to be more hands-on in volunteering in construction-based ministries, including many MissionConnect projects.
Shari and husband Mark have two grown children who both live in Colorado Springs.

BRIAN WORSTER
Chairman
As our current board chairman, Brian brings a unique service-oriented heart to our team of directors. Brian is a lifetime craftsman utilizing incredible skills in carpentry and design. He and His wife Teresa live in Colorado Springs and they have been major contributors to our various projects. Brian brings a quiet, humorous approach to our team and brings tremendous experience to our mission aims. Brian enjoys getting to ride his motorcycle, but loves to serve others and can often be found assisting another with his wide variety of carpentry skills.
